Miss Selfridge Loves!

Here are a few item's that I am currently lusting over from Miss Selfridge. I decided that I would select one of each item, instead of bombarding you with ridiculous amounts of pictures of things I wish I could afford! As hard as this was, I am quite satisfied with these items, but still there are many many more I wish I could have added :) Autumn is my favourite season, especially for clothing! The transition from Summer to Autumn wardrobe is just amazing, it's still warm enough to wear a playsuit/dress if you team them with tights and you can wear boots and layer up without breaking a sweat! I love autumnal colours more than anything, from teal greens to burgundy and berry tones; they're just so warm and welcoming and to put the cherry on top they also compliment my skin tone pretty nicely also :) So, as I said; here are a few of my favourite pieces to date :D

Not a lot to say guys.. These past few days I've been so skint, I've done almost nothing. My days consist of; walking to work, working, walking home and then reading/packing/showering/babysitting/cooking.. Not much to tell really! A few nights I've walked down to the pub and seen friends, really boring life with only 27p to my name and the rest in lira for my holiday! Go away in SIX DAYS though which is very very exciting!  

I've already packed (only got my necessities (make-up/cleanser/moisturiser/phone charger etc) to put into my suitcase and BAM!) and I'm raring to go :D Today I got some injections for my holiday and I didn't kick up a fuss or anything! Feeling pretty proud of myself right now (what a child, eh?)!

P.S. Babysitting's easy if you have a tent; keeps them entertained for hours on end ;)

Nothings better on a Summers evening than to have a lovely BBQ with all your friends! Lets just say that the guys bought WAY too much food for the amount of people, and we then realised there was no charcoal! Greer and I were the ones that had to drive to get some ON A SUNDAY EVENING!? Thankfully we found some at her place and in the end it was an amazing night :) 

From the joys of trying to get the BBQ burning, cooking in the pitch black (Phone torches out people, ha!), playing swing ball and eating insane amounts of food, it was a fantastic night :D The best BBQ this year so far I'd say ;)

P.S. Let me just give you guys a little tip to try out.. Nando's sauce and a drizzle of olive oil on baked chips = AMAZING! Lol :)

Yesterday I invested in these cool 'granny curtain print' leggings. I vowed I wouldn't buy any more clothes, but at such a good price, I just couldn't say no! (I can also wear them travelling :D)

A few other things I wanted to invest in (but cannot justify it in the slightest) from New Look were; This Grandad Cardigan, This Cool Jacket, This Denim Shirt, This Gorgeous T-shirt, These Beautiful Boots and These Trainers. Oh a girl can dream! -Need to win the lottery so bad :)

Style Icon: Gillian Zinser

I can't help but love Gillian's laid back, grungy luxe, boho style. Whether she's dressing up a vintage tee with a textured coat, or toughening up a feminine frock with boyish accessories, the way she combines these two aesthetics to make her own version of California cool is definitely noteworthy. Perhaps the biggest reason I'm drawn to her is her willingness to experiment with playful prints. She certainly knows how to use them in a memorable and chic way -Even more reason to love her look!

Today I decided to dedicate a post to the one and only quirky and edgy; Miss Daisy Lowe. I absolutely love her ability to mix and match her rock chic cool heritage with vintage and floral pieces. The fact she loves to play around, and never sticks to one way of dressing just makes me love her ever more!
