Today has been a day within itself! Some days nowadays I feel as though filled with butterflies. Soft wings fluttering pleasantly in tingly promise of growth and possibilities. It's a trust in life, this sharing; opening up yourself to others, and also to be invited in. Not to hide this light, or try to catch it. To just enjoy it, and set it free. 

Spent some hours with him, walking and talking. Grabbing some last minute bits for his holiday to Florida (jealous!). I've been smiling all day, - And you know what happens from there; only good things :) I'm now chilling out in my garden in my pj's soaking in the last of today's sun. I hope you all had a wonderful day too!

When we where still just friends, not yet lovers, you told me I couldn't expect to be in a constant state of happiness, when I asked you what happiness is. Now I'm fumbling with the different keys on the keychain, sometimes thinking I can. I've narrowed it down. I have the lock already. And everyday my hand gets steadier. 

Week 004

Bikini: H&M 

001. Finally getting myself a tan, YAY! I put this up to show you the bikini, It's my absolute FAVOURITE :D I bought it last year from H&M and thought that maybe I'd splurged a little too much on JUST a bikini, but it was well worth the money. I love the colour, the material and the fit, it's possibly the best bikini I've ever owned! So there you have it guys ;) Definitely investing in another this year, it'd be rude not to ;)

002. I have to say, I'm absolutely LOVING this weather, as my mum has said to me summer 'suits' me! I just love frolicking in the pool, my favourite place is the beach, I could live off ice cream and BBQ's. It's just all round perfection for me! :D

003. As it's been sunny, my skin has gotten a little better and I don't see the point in caking my face in make-up; instead I've been opting for Garnier's B.B cream with a touch of concealer on the bad bits :) The B.B cream is great on my skin, it gives me a nice healthy glow, it's nice and airy, and gives a lovely medium coverage, which makes it perfect for these sunshine days!

004. I've decided that, because my money keeping skills are SHOCKING, I am going to write a list of things I have to get/pay for next month.. So far I have the essentials; rent, food, phone bill, travel, and then on top of that there's paying for London (Damien Hirst exhibition), a sewing machine, new make-up, and putting money away for holiday. That's all I've got at the moment, but I have a feeling I've already spent well over my wages just in that :/

005. I LOVE living by the beach, I couldn't imagine my life not being near it.. I'm pretty sure it's one of the things that keep me sane in this world! As soon as I can, I'm moving closer to it, if not on it :D

This morning was spent at work which was absolutely awful as we were really under staffed and people hadn't done their jobs the day before! However, this afternoon was rightly spent in the sun with Melly :) We just lounged around in the sun all day chatting and having an all round fun filled day :D Gotten a bit burnt though, so I am now smothered in aloe vera gel babysitting and watching TV! I hope you're all making the most of this weather also!

Week 003

001. Went to Charbear's on Thursday night and had an AMAZING time! We drunk wine and rum, ate McDonalds, watched The Princess and The Frog, played sing star (neither of us can sing AT ALL) and somehow got all the high scores and then finally played just dance (which absolutely killed us the next morning!). All in all it was a fantastic evening in :D We're now considering making it a weekly/fortnightly occurrence instead of going out and spending money we REALLY don't have (and are supposed to be saving). Personally, I think it's a fantastic time, I enjoyed it so much, however, I think I've broken a rib from laughing so much! 


002. I know I said I wouldn't spend any more money on clothes or accessories, however, I just cannot seem to help myself! It's like some sore of illness :| I bought a silver necklace from Dorothy Perkins (in my defence it was only £1! What a bargain, eh? And the other day I was just mooching around the New Look site, seeing if they had any nice pieces in, and I came across this beauty.. Now I'm not one to see something in New Look that I 'NEED RIGHT NOW!' but when I do, I am compelled to buy it.. It'd be rude not to, right? Considering I get it all half price it'd be stupid not to?! It comes on Tuesday and I can barely contain my excitement :D

003. I've had quite a quiet week if I'm honest.. I've baked shortbread and carrot cake (both of which came out beautifully), had lunch and done food shopping with mum (where I bought Anastasia :D), worked and drunk way too much coffee (shock)!


004. I'm still 'umm'ing and 'ahh'ing about this dress from AXParis. I love the colour and the shape, except the neckline. I've never really cared for this neckline.. I think it just looks terrible on me, it's not high, nor is it low, it's got that horrible in between-ness. But everyone keeps telling me to buy it, so I'm just confused now! What're your thoughts?

Cuff It.

It seems we are cuffing everything at the moment; wrists, hair, necks, arms, waists, ears, ankles.. You name it! I've been looking around for the perfect wrist cuffs for a while now, but havn't had much luck. Just some plain rose gold wrist cuffs (that don't cost an arm and a leg please!), is it so much to ask for?! Dries Van Noten introduce the hair cuff in his A/W 2011 show, and I've been seeing them pop up everywhere recently. Not exactly a favourite of mine, maybe one day I'll try it, but for now, I think I'll just stick to cuffing everything else instead! What will you guys be cuffing?

New Look A/W Press Day 2012

I looked at the accessories and shoes first, and I feel they are definitely New Look's best assets for next season. The designs are clearly designer inspired (Chloe, Jeffrey Campbell and McQueen)! 

As a lover of boots, naturally they were the first thing that caught my eyes. Leather, buckled, embellished, studded, heeled, wedge, you name it; there here! I am absolutely in love with the tapestry ones and the McQueen inspired cut away heels, definitely going to have to invest in them when they're released. 

Secondly, the amount of collars made my face light up, they are so easy to wear and can do so much to a t-shirt or a simple outfit. And to top it all off; I adored the little touches of rose gold too! 

I have my little eye on quite a few pieces from the clothing collection also! I'm not even going to go into how much I want/need/love.. Lets just say I'm going to be very poor by the time Autumn/Winter comes this year -Better start saving ;)
